Libertus Solutions has been in business since 2006. In those earlier years we used to write frequently about all kinds of topics on our general blog over at theopensourcerer.com (as did many other businesses back then). But with the dramatic rise of the big social media platforms blogging became somewhat of a niche medium, and we basically stopped around 10 years ago.
Libertus now believes that the time is right to restart blogging.
Libertus has continued to provide consulting, development, training and support services since its formation. We first started out working exclusively with Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) but as that market has evolved, so have we. Whilst FOSS still forms a core part of the services we offer, many of our customers have moved some or all of their business systems to cloud-based services – especially in the CRM space. Our CRM of choice has been Vtiger since the very beginning and we continue to support customers big and small around the world, both with the Open Source product and the Cloud solution. And as you probably guessed, the cloud solution now forms a larger proportion of our business that the open source product.
Vtiger Cloud has evolved rapidly over the past few years and some of the specific new features and technologies certainly merit more than a 240 character message to properly describe them. It was this requirement – to explain – that has led us to believe that a blog is well-suited for this purpose.
Over the coming months & years on this site we will examine some of the features, benefits and use-cases of Vtiger CRM along with more general trends and analysis of the market.
On the “other” blog, at theopensourcerer.com, you’ll discover a much more personal and eclectic mix of tales and stories from the business owners.
We hope that by using a blog we can engage, educate and possibly even entertain our readers. We welcome and encourage comments although they will be pre-moderated for obvious reasons.
“Next I suppose they’ll be bringing back bookmarks!” I hear you exclaim…
